At the beginning you are struck with the sound of heavy, mid-driven guitars that leads right into a sweet metal tune. The rest of this album lends a great vibe and feel really driving it home! True death metal fans will enjoy having this album to listen to for a different approach to the sound.
Fleshcrawl is made up of some very dark and talented band members. Once you see their pictures you will understand. On vocals racking out the heavy yelling and crunch is Sven Gross, slamming out the mad guitar riffs and pushing this album to the level it’s at are Mike Hanus and Oliver Grbavac, then riding right along with them on bass is Tobias Schick, while pounding out the metronome beats and rhythms is drummer Bastian Herzog. You will find yourself head banging to these guys!
“Made Of Flesh” is consistant in energy from start to finish with very little varience. If you are looking for a great album to play and rock out to, this is definitely one to plug it. To speed up the head throwing, check out track 7, “Damned In Fire” and you will definately be surprised. You get a nice guitar solo a couple minutes into the track but then right back to the death metal they are known for. Track 9, “Carnal Devourment” gives out a killer sound that completely sold me on the album. With all of the same characteristics in every song track 9 takes it all and combines every aspect of their music on this album while hitting you hard with a sound you will never forget.
