From across the ocean comes a band that brings together by far the most unique hard rock/metal sound I have ever heard! Skindred combines a tight metal sound with the strong vocal influences of reggae music. This brew opens up doors to new levels in music that have never been crossed before! This highly innovative sound is sheer proof of the power of music. What? Can’t imagine the sound? I can’t even imagine the sound, but put in the CD and you will be completely shocked and amazed with the level of hard-ass rock!
This four-piece band pounds out the rocking’ grooves while capturing the minds and ears of every listener. Benji Webbe on vocals gives us a brilliant gift of vocal diversity, really giving each song a powerful quality, Mikeydemus on guitars fills the sound extremely well with audibly fat sounds and great licks, Dan on bass filling in that low-end, and Dirty Arya on drums really keeping the amazing pulse of this power group.
The well spread energy in this album is an unbelievable step in music. You are in for a remarkable treat.
