Street Dogs Artist - Street Dogs
Album - Back To The World
Former member and co-founder Mike McColgan of The Dropkick Murpheys, who quit Dropkick in '98 to pursue his life long dream of becoming a member of the Boston Fire Department, is back for another round with his new band Street Dogs. Their brand new release Back to the World is a testament to musical passion and according to Mike, "the thing I'd like to convey most through bio or anything is that this music has an honesty and earnestness to it. The lyrics are from legitimate life experiences from the band members."

After interviewing Mike, and then seeing there live show, I was really looking forward to getting my hands on this new cd. It was all worth while. I popped it in, and away we went. From the very 1st song “Strike a Blow” you are pulled into there world, you can really feel the true life experiences in the lyrics through out the cd. It just continues from “Your Alone” “Back To The World” “White Collar Fruad” and on. It's pretty clear the Street Dogs haven't forgotten the struggle and they haven't forgotten the streets.
