Every Time I Die
Roseland Theater, Portland, OR
By Joe Prophet

Every Time I Die
This was the second time I have had the fortune to see ETID live, the first on Oz Fest and now here. I have to say, This was by far the better show. Andy and the rest were able to cut loose, play long and hard, and connect with there fans, and fans they have! I watched as the merch window for ETID sold shirt after shirt, when they got on stage, it was a sea of ETID fanatics.

Their live performances are an emotional roller coaster as well as an inspiring interaction between the band and their fans. But more so, it‘s undeniably memorable what happens when a group of five individuals dedicate their lives to the love of music in the hopes of leaving a lasting impression on the world.

This performance seems to just keep getting better from “I Been Gone” to “Ebolarana” and my favorites “Punch Drunk Punk” I have a feeling we are going to hear more and more about these guys in the future, and I for one hope so.

I learned at the show that a close friend of the band’s as well as their merch. guy, Jeff Stanahan, had become very ill and was in a hospital in St. Louis, fighting pneumonia. During the interview with Andy I learned he is out of ICU. Which is awesome news! But Jeff's hospital bills are growing day by day. The band is doing everything in their power to help Jeff and his family offset their hospital bills, and they are hoping their fans can help as well. They set up a paypal account for Jeff at www.tour-city.com. Show Jeff some love, ETID needs their Merch. guy back!
