Street Dogs
Street Dogs

Street Dogs
By Joe Prophet

These Boston natives are exactly what they appear, street dogs. They are rough around the edges and so raw that you can almost taste the angst dripping from the lyrics. The Street Dogs are intensely solid and hard hitting throughout their set. They kept us all jumping and pushing the whole time they were on, and totally pump up the sold out house with their cover of Black Flag's "Rise Above". And I can’t forget to mention that the vocalist for this band is none other than original Dropkick Murphy’s singer Mike McColgan?! Five years after his descent from Dropkick, he is back with a much more punk and a shit load more rock! It also doesn’t hurt he is one hell of a nice guy! My only regret from this show, is the fact that NONE of my pictures turned out, I guess you’ll have to go out and see them live! The Street Dogs have just released their debut album, Back To The World, so if you can't catch these guys live, there's still hope for you. If not, please kill yourself.
