Blindside Artist - Blindside
Album - A Thought Crushed My Mind (Re-issued with Bonus Tracks) And Blindside Debut Release (Remastered with 4 bonus tracks)
Label - DRT Records
Reviewer - Robin Steeley
I recently received both these albums in the mail from DRT Entertainment and although it wasn’t new material, I was happy to have anything from Sweden’s Blindside. In addition to these two re-issues, the band has a DVD entitled “Ten Years Running Blind” in the works and are working on their latest album due out this summer and produced by Lasse “Lars” Marten as was their debut album.

Both of these albums have all the good things I remember about Blindside, but now the songs are even better having been digitally Remastered and including all the bonus tracks. Songs from the bands original debut include demo’s of “Superman”, “Liberty”, “Forgiven” and “Stolen” which were previously only available as a limited edition released only in Stockholm in 1996. Also included here is the bands 2000 break out release “A Thought Crushed My Mind”, easily my favorite from this band. Also included is two songs that are only available on 7” Vinyl, “Knocking on Another Door” and “All You need is” and brand new never released tracks “Desert Flower” and “Sunrise”.

The albums both feature sixteen tracks and will make an excellent addition to anyone wanting to get to know Blindsides music, fans of straight forward hard rock, or anyone who is already a fan and wishes to add it to their collection.
