Beyond the Flesh Artist - Beyond the Flesh
Album - What the Mind Perceives

Drop this CD in your CD player, hold your stance and get ready to throw your head around! This metal act has their sound truly defined. The depth of this music is intense and will grab you from the beginning. Beyond the Flesh has released this album to get into your head and rock you to the ground!

From the New Jersey, this harmonizing guitar metal band has a powerful lead, killer foundation and a means of playing this classic metal sound very well. With members Justin Leary on vocals and guitar, Senen Solis on drums, Rick Flanegan on lead guitar, and Brian Gawaski on bass. I will commend the mixing engineer on this project to make sure the bass was heard. In most metal the bass is not heard and is buried in guitars and keyboards. Not here! Brian gets his moments to tear up the low end and make his statement!

Track 1 nails it hard and makes you listen with the driving beats, great guitar lines, and strong vocals. Track 6, Wasteland, talking about the mind wasted in a dreamland, is a great song that gives us some fantastic drumming and percussion skills from Senen. The combined sounds here are amazing! Track 9 caught my attention, with a great intro, drives into an infectious drive. During the verse the feel changes, but remains constant, and listening closely I really hear a lot of thought went into the creation of this song and it came across very well!

I recommend checking these guys out if you are a fan of metal at any level. This powerhouse 4-piece band is ready to hit the road and rock you hard!
