First off, I love Conan's Pub. Its always the perfect gritty, get loose n have a good time kinda club. I was under the impression that Quandry would be playing first, and thats cuz I don't pay attention. *sheepish grin* but they went on last, and it was like I had wandered through the desert and finally found an oasis when they began. This Portland-based three piece band rocked our sox off. It was soooo worth going and worth the wait to hear them. Before they even went on, my friend Chris (who also took the pix) loved em based on their sweet drum set. For more info go to www.Quandryband.com.

The lead singer/bassist has thee smoothest vox I have heard in a long time. No bleeding throat screaming there, without sacrificing heavy.Quite a hottie, too, as were all three. They owned the stage, had a good time, and won me over.Unfortunately, there was no crowd to speak of, and its too bad, too, cuz they really deserved an audience. Guitarist held up and more all by his self, needing no other help with strings besides bass, and managed to look terribly cool while doing so.The drummer didn't dissappoint, either, totally controlled perfection as he showed he should have that killer drum set.

These guys are better than Tool, and I could hear the System of a Down influence.Heavy rockers, like Temujin. They played a long set and woke us from our bored slumber, rocked us til the club closed, plus, they acted so down to earth, not a snotty tude outa any of em. It was pure pleasure, guys, thanks for the show.
