Another great tour package to roll through the summer of 2005 had to be labeled one of the greatest American rock band tours which featured an all new headling show with Mississippi's own Three Doors Down with very special guest support artists Staind, Pennsylvania's own Local boys Breakin Benjamin and from Tallahassee Florida the quintet known as No Address all out on the road supporting either new music or out to just have fun on tour with Three Doors Down. as if last years show wasn't kick ass with Three Doors Down and Nickelback CO-headlining amazing sets, this year alone promised to be even better as both Staind and Three Doors Down released new works to the world and have set out to conquer North America.

On this tour, we the fans were graced to a super set which featured tracks off their debut CD on the Atlantic label from No Address who have toured extensively with the likes of Alter Bridge and various other artists in 2004. I myself never heard of this quintet based out of Florida, who their sophomore release is amazing from track to track, yet their live performance at camdens tweeter center was great. The entire band sat down to sign copies of their CD at the FYE table not once but twice, yeah I would say that helps to sell units but it does increase fans to get to know a band more personable verses watching them perform say about twenty minutes, which to some people doesn't really give you the full effect of their set.

Next to take the stage was local boys who are from the Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania area know to the rest of the world simply as Breakin Benjamin, who are just amazing musicians both on and off their records. With just two CD's under their belt, Breakin Benjamin has gone from just your average local band doing the club circuit, to sharing the stage with even southern boys Saliva on the Jagermeister Tour back in 2003. For the amount of time lotted with Breakin Benjamin, They just tore it up on stage. I admire their music, style, and creativity as a band. Breakin Benjamin performed several hits that have gained them a lot of popularity on rock radio across the board. Their set included: " Sooner or Later ," " So Cold ," "Away ," and their Current single " Rain ." In fact they also did a CD signing which really went quicker then a few blinks of an eye. The band signed eighty copies of We Are Not Alone which flew out the door like madness. As we all know any band wouldn't be a band without the fans and the ever popularity of the music that scales them from next to nothing to rock super stars with a click of switch.

The scale of this tour seem to head straight into orbit as Staind walked onto the stage and began to play their opening set of songs. Heres a band that not only can kick your ass but can actually craft songs with melody and style. Seems much of a mystery about their light shows extensively dark, dense, and unusual to say the least. Yet the heavier side of this band can generate a lot of energy on stage as they performed a slew of hits from the bands complete catalog of hits spanning their musical career which included " Mudshovel ", " Price to Play ", " How about You ", " So Far Away", " Fade ", "Outside ", and ofcourse rounding some tasty music in a sweaty set " It's Been A While ".

Rounding out the entire evening that wouldn't be massively complete without a ninety minute set done by Three Doors Down. Hard to believe this band has earned more then just success on Rock Radio world wide in such a mere amount of time. Each recorded they have recorded has its own unique blend of Heavy driving guitar works as well as the rock type ballads that have earned them platinum plus status. Their live set demonstrates their power house craftsmanship as a five piece with songs like " Kryptonite," the very successful guitar driven track called " Loser " as well as other favorites such as " Duck and Run ," " Better Life ," " Here without You ," and "When I'm Gone ." We often wonder where some bands get their names or come up with titles with no significance to any song or musical genre,' yet bands like Three Doors Down have become a household name over the years from one song that generated such a rock buzz a few years back. Even if Three Doors Down has had one lineup change with their drummer and are sometimes pictured as a four piece in various Magazines or even their own liner notes of the current CD intitled Seventeen Days, musically driven as a five piece Three Doors Down packs a punch in their live sets.
