Circa Survive Solid State in Portland, OR

Who is Circa Survive? This is a question I ask myself when i accepted the assignment. Well the answer is... I bunch of cool down to earth guys who are very into what they do. They seem to really have their act together, I mean really. I had the chance to see these guys live the last time they came to Portland and wow, it was a great show. I had no idea that so many Young emo rockers could fit into a small hall like Solid State. It was packed and the energy was huge. These guys came out on stage as if this was the biggest show of their life. No hold bars with these cats. I liked the CD that Warm Fuzzy Production was so cool to send me, but the live gig was even better. I think i would have to say that even though I am a metal head/ punker at heart, these guys got my hands up with their huge vocal, ripping drums and deep guitars. If you feel like trying something that takes a turn from the norm then check these guys out.
And on that note you should also check out the CD Juturna. The cover art work is insane and it makes for a great edition to any music lovers CD collection.
As for now..
Hold it down and have one for me.
